Management Team
Mr. Lio Chen Fei joined Regal Hotels International in 2023 as the Vice President of Operations. With a Bachelor's Degree from Shanghai Normal University and a Master's Degree from Purdue University, Mr. Chen has dedicated the past 15 years to the Travel & Hospitality Industry, serving in various leadership roles including Senior Vice President at Jin Jiang International and Managing Director at Plug and Play.
As the Senior Vice President of Operations, Mr. Chen is responsible for overseeing hotel operations with a focus on efficiency, transformation and growth.
Mr. Christopher Cheng Kan-lok joined Regal Hotels International in 2024 as Assistant Vice President – Finance.
With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in accounting, including 14 years in hotel finance and operations, Mr. Cheng has established a robust foundation for his role as the Head of Finance for the Group.
Mr. Cheng earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His professional journey began with six years at prominent accounting firms, including Deloitte. He then transitioned to the hospitality sector, joining prestigious international hotel groups such as The Peninsula Hotels and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. Throughout his tenure in the hotel industry, Mr. Cheng has been instrumental in driving financial efficiency and operational effectiveness, earning widespread recognition.
In his current role, Mr. Cheng oversees the entire finance function of the Group. His responsibilities include financial planning and management, enhancing innovative and effective financial systems and controls, strengthening risk assessment and compliance processes, and developing Finance Executives across the hotel portfolio.
Mr. Watson Lai Ching-kwok brings over forty years of experience in the hospitality industry, having held senior positions at several esteemed hotel groups in mainland China and Hong Kong, including InterContinental Hotels Group, Great Eagle Group, and Langham Hospitality Group. He possesses extensive industry knowledge in food quality and operational management.
As the Vice President - Food & Beverage at Regal Hotels, Mr. Lai oversees the management for more than 40 restaurants across all Regal Hotels in Hong Kong, with a strong emphasis on banquet and event planning. Leveraging his robust professional expertise, he leads his team to provide exquisite cuisine and exceptional service, striving to create extraordinary dining and meeting experiences for every guest.
Mr. Lai is dedicated to enhancing food quality and optimizing service standards in alignment with Regal Hotels’ vision for sustainability development. He emphasizes the importance of local sourcing and ingredient quality to enhance and solidify the company’s reputation within the industry.
Ms. Ayse Wong Oi-sze, rejoined Regal Hotels International in 2010 as the Vice President – Human Resources. She was under the employment of Regal between 1992 and 2001 working in Corporate Office, Regal Hongkong Hotel, Regal Oriental Hotel and Regal Airport Hotel in various Human Resource capacities. In addition to her hotel management responsibilities, she is also responsible for the Human Resources functions of the Century City Group including Paliburg and Regal REIT.
Graduating from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Travel Industry Management, Ms. Wong has acquired over 20 years of hotel and human resources management experience in renowned hotels and companies such as The Regent and Sun Hung Kai Properties.
Ms. Wong contributes to the community through various roles in the Education Bureau of the HKSAR. She was an appointed Member of the Curriculum Development Council (2015-2021) and is currently a Member of the Advisory Committee on Gifted Education, a Member of the Applied Learning Committee and a Member of the Dissemination and Promotion Sub-Committee of the Quality Education Fund.
Mr. Yeung graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. He was the founding leader of Royal Caribbean Cruises in Hong Kong and has held senior positions with some of the most prominent names in the industry, both locally and internationally, including Wharf Hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, and Virgin Atlantic Airways. In 2007, he was recognised with the “Outstanding Young Marketing Professional” award by the Hong Kong Management Association. Recently, he further enhanced his expertise by earning a Professional Certificate in Digital and Social Media Marketing from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
In his current role, Mr. Yeung oversees all commercial aspects of the group, optimising the business performance of the entire portfolio by leveraging his well-rounded skills and the latest digital technologies and platforms. He is committed to enhancing the brand’s position as a leading hospitality group in the region, promoting wellness, fostering innovation, and striving for sustainable practices that benefit people, businesses, and the future.
Mr. Tse is a Member of Institute of Hospitality since 2008.
